Teq’s Online PD team will host 5 professional development sessions focused on the integration of SMART-technology in the classroom during this year’s upcoming ISTE conference in San Antonio.

June 16, 2017 Huntington Station, NY – Teq (http://www.teq.com) will host a series of SMART-focused professional development sessions in both the SMART and Teq booths at this year’s ISTE conference in San Antonio, Texas. The sessions will cover how to improve student learning outcomes through the integration of SMART Boards and the SMART Learning Suite software into daily instruction. Sessions will be delivered by Teq’s Director of eLearning Joseph Sanfilippo, as well as Teq Curriculum Specialist and Google-Certified Trainer, Jessica Wenke.

Attendees will be able to view The Fusion of Technology and Learning, Monday June 26th and Tuesday, June 27th at 2:30 PM in SMART’s booth (#1500), and Wednesday, June 28th at 11 AM in the Teq booth (#432). In the session, educator Joseph Sanfilippo will discuss how to combine best teaching practices with the skills needed to build and conduct lessons using SMART amp, the web-based platform found in the SMART Learning Suite. Attendees will learn how to connect a variety of student devices to an interactive workspace, digitally distribute lesson materials, and foster collaboration in the classroom.

Excited for his sessions, Joseph Sanfilippo is ready to make the most of ISTE. “Not only is ISTE the largest edtech conference of the year, it’s also a place where people come to learn. That’s what makes the experience so rewarding. ISTE attendees feel passionately about the impact technology has on our students, and I am excited to provide them with some of the tools to accomplish that goal, may it be through my sessions at ISTE, or through the work we do with Teq Online PD.”

On Monday, June 26, at 4 PM, and Tuesday, June 27th at 10:30 AM and 4:00 PM, conference attendees can join PD Specialist Jessica Wenke at the Teq booth for The Hidden Uses of SMART Notebook. The session will cover how to integrate SMART Notebook, the world’s most premiere education software, to facilitate interactive learning experiences in the classroom.

For those looking to improve school network performance, they can join Teq for a 20-minute demonstration on CloudGenix, the SD-WAN solution that leverages innovative application and network performance monitoring tools, so IT staff can quickly discover, isolate, and solve problems that negatively impact network performance. Sessions will be held on Monday, June 26th at 1:30 PM, and Tuesday, June 27th at 1:30PM at the Teq booth.

Attendees visiting the Teq booth will also have the opportunity to learn about Teq Online PD, Teq’s online professional development platform that has over 900 live and archived videos on today’s top classroom technologies, and get hands-on experience with SMART’s 6000 series Interactive Flat Panels.
