Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA), the largest non-profit edtech association in the United States, is gearing up to host their annual conference! With a solid track record of over 40 years in the education sector, this organization aims to advance teaching and learning through the use of technology. TCEA Convention & Exposition is a major event on the educational calendar; thousands of attendees come together to hone their craft, share ideas, and learn together.

Details about the 2023 conference

This year’s conference has big things in store! The TCEA Convention & Exposition is being held in San Antonio at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center from January 30th through February 2nd. This year promises diversity of thought, exceptional resources, and meaningful connections. Teq is looking forward to contributing to this year’s conference. We’ll be at booth #261/360 in the exhibition hall; stop by to chat edtech, PBL, and educator PD.

What to expect from Teq

We’re thrilled to be showcasing some incredible edtech like SMART interactive flat panels, screen-free robotics like KIBO and KUBO, and block-case coding robotics kits from Ozobot and WonderWorkshop. Chat with our team members about how to integrate these fun and inspirational edtech tools in your classroom. One of the best ways to get longevity out of your classroom tech is to incorporate it in meaningful activities that align with your curriculum and goals. There’s no better way to do this than with project-based learning, which is why we created iBlocks — project-based learning experiences that inspire students to solve really world issues and create projects worthy of showing off. All this is accomplished without requiring teachers to spend an inordinate amount of time planning. Our library of topics is over 40 strong with options for all grade levels from K-12. In addition, we’ll be discussing our professional development platform, OTIS for educatorsOTIS offers courses on how to effectively integrate technology and pedagogy. Between our on-demand library and calendar of live sessions, we make it easy to access hundreds of courses, with topics on STEM, SEL, literacy, ENL/ELL, and more.

We can’t wait speak with Texas educators at this year’s TCEA Convention. Drop by to say hi, chat, learn more about PBL, play with a robot, or even just snag some swag!
