Google Classroom has recently added some great new features that let you collaborate with multiple teachers in one class and they’ve add more options on the app.
Inviting teachers to your class:
A much asked about feature is finally here! Now you can add multiple teachers to a class in your Google Classroom. If you are co-teaching a class, have a teacher’s aid, or want to add access for a department chair or mentor, you can now invite them to your class.
To add a teacher, go to your About page in a class and click “Invite teacher.”
What can invited teachers do?
- Create assignments and announcements
- View and grade student submissions
- Interact with comments on the class stream
- Invite students
- Receive notifications
What can’t invited teacher do?
- Delete a class
Google Classroom App – New Features
The Classroom App has been expanding rapidly, with new features every month. Here are a few of the latest:
- Grade assignments: Grade and add private feedback to student assignments
- Create and edit assignments: You can also use the make a copy feature when creating assignments
- Take a photo for a post or assignment: Share content done in class, like an example you wrote on the board or that really cool place you found down the street with an example of an acute angle.
