Differentiated SEL Check-ins with Google

The past year has been difficult for students and teachers. Participants will explore creating differentiated social-emotional learning (SEL) check-ins using Google tools such as Slides, Forms and Jamboard. Visual and text-based options will be explored as well as incorporating Bitmojis and emojis for younger students or students with special needs.
3D Design: Tessellations with Tinkercad

With tessellations, students are using 3D design principles with math, art, and the engineering design process. In this interactive session, we will go to the Tinkercad website and use basic tools to design shapes that can be copied and fit together like a puzzle — fun and engaging!
Putting Our Families’ Journeys on the Map

In this session, you will act as the student and explore your family’s journey to the United States. Using digital tools, you will research and curate information about that journey. The class will collaborate on a Google Map to tell their story. One map, many stories.
