Over the years, teachers tend to accumulate a lot of materials. Now that the world has gone digital, and education along with it, there is more out there than ever before. Picture this: you have an amazing assignment from two years ago that you’d love to do again with a more modern twist. Your student activity is a Google Doc, your lesson is a PowerPoint file, and you have supplemental materials given to you by another teacher that are PDFs. Typically, a teacher in this position would upload each file to their LMS and push them out as needed to students. But each file uses different software, and has a different level of interactive capability  What if you could have one simple file that was easy to edit, deliver, and could be made interactive and pushed out to student devices? Here’s how it works:

• Login to your Lumio account
• Click the green activities button
• Choose Import resource
• Import a file (PDF, Notebook, PPT, Google Slide, and more) from your computer or Google Drive
• Choose which pages of the file you want to import – only use what you need!
• Add additional pages, files, games, videos, and pre-made content by clicking the blue plus button on the left
• Rearrange, duplicate, and delete pages as needed
• Make any page interactive by clicking the wand icon on the top right

That’s it! It takes only a few minutes to gather all of your tried-and-true materials into one cohesive lesson. Be aware that objects on converted files (non-Notebook files) are processed as images, so you won’t be able to manipulate existing text or images on the pages. However, you can add in images and text, or add additional pages for student work or review.
